If you join us as a new start franchisee or you are converting your existing practice to TaxAssist Accountants, you will need to be a qualified accountant with a practising certificate. We can advise you on obtaining a practising certificate if that’s something you aren’t familiar with.
If you are purchasing a TaxAssist franchise resale (a practice that’s already within the TaxAssist network) and you are not an accountant with a practising certificate, then having a financial/senior management position within the banking or financial services sectors or proven business background is essential. You must attend the initial training course and employ a practice manager who is a qualified accountant to manage the day-to-day operations of the business.
Whichever way you join us, as a franchisee your focus will be on advising and supporting clients and growing the business, while the technology and your team deliver the services on offer.
What qualifications do I need to join TaxAssist Accountants?
The majority of the accountants who join the network have a recognised accountancy qualification, typically ACA, ACCA, CTA, AAT, ATT, CIMA, AFA, AIA, CIOT, CPAA, IAB, ICAS, IFA and have a mix of industry and practice backgrounds.
What makes a successful TaxAssist Accountant?
To be a successful franchisee, you will need to demonstrate:

We have a number of case studies for you to view the range of people who have joined TaxAssist Accountants, from those who have built a practice from the ground up - which can be found here, to those that have purchased a franchise resale - here.
