In 2022, we rolled out our financial services offering to meet clients’ needs and drive new income streams for our network.
The current range of services offered by TaxAssist Financial Services includes:
- Pensions
- Investments
- Mortgages, encompassing residential, re-mortgages, buy-to-let and equity release
- Wealth planning
- Life insurance, critical illness insurance, income protection, family income benefit, relevant life and group policies
- Business protection including key person insurance, shareholder protection
Plans are in place to have regionally based Independent Financial Advisers operating from TaxAssist Accountants shops and offices.
This represents a huge opportunity for the TaxAssist network, with an extended range of services, providing a competitive advantage over local firms. It also generates a passive income stream for introducers, earning a generous 20% commission on everything ever earned. This includes ongoing advice fees on investment value and trail commissions – an arrangement rarely offered by financial advisers. Furthermore, our accountants will also earn commission on any new clients acquired in their territory even if they are not a client of theirs. This opens the market up even further.
Tax Consulting by TaxAssist
Our TaxAssist-branded Tax Consulting Service, based at our Support Centre in Norwich, runs alongside our current partners. While most tax planning needs can be supported by our accountants, we are continuing to develop ways to broaden the range of services we can deliver to clients. The Tax Consulting team works with our network to deliver more complex tax services, to help each TaxAssist Accountant earn more fees, retain clients and win new business.
Payroll by TaxAssist
Our TaxAssist-branded payroll service works alongside our network of accountants to deliver end-to-end payroll services for their clients. Using the latest technology, the payroll service is run through a leading cloud-based portal, providing enhanced functionality for our accountants, their clients, and their employees. This service frees up time for our network and because it is priced at a level significantly below the typical market rate, it's also helping each TaxAssist Accountant to achieve better profit margins and win new business.
